Provided intensive psychotherapy treatment for 20 male offenders listed as level 4 mental health (i.e., most severe mental health level) using various therapeutic strategies and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Collaborated with the psychiatrist and clinical team in developing and implementing treatment plans in accordance with Georgia Department of Corrections policies and procedures
Prepared documentation for release and assisted with obtaining appropriate housing.
Reduced the number of Crisis Stabilization Unit admissions among offenders with a history of self-injurious behavior and suicide attempts
